Sheep Shearing News
After the very successful two day sheep dog trials, Graham Baldry was back with a colleague last weekend to shear the 129 mule shearlings that they used in the trials. Our visitor's were able to watch and enjoy this despite the weather.
There is still a lot more shearing to do. Why not come and join us here at Snettisham Park whilst this very highly skilled and fascinating task takes place. Further dates will be posted once confirmed.
Sheep Show coming soon
Our popular Sheep Show will be back in action starting from the Spring Bank Holiday weekend of 25th/26th May. This entertaining and educational show will then continue throughout the summer and will run twice a day.
A great bonus for our visitor's off all ages!
Lambing 2013
Our second flock of 221 ewes started lambing on March 20th and have now finished - our very last lamb being born this week. Our many visitor's have been able to enjoy the experience of seeing a lamb being born - truly captivating and exciting to watch. Lambs and mums are now outside enjoying the spring weather and frolicking in our green pastures - you can see them whilst walking the trails. They are great fun to watch as they play and skip around!!
We are bottle feeding the orphan lambs (the third of a triplet) with the help of our visitor's at 11am, 2pm and 4pm every day.

Sheep Dog Trials News
On Sunday May 5th and Monday May 6th, our visitor's had the added bonus of watching Sheep Dog Trials arranged by North Norfolk handler Graham Baldry. Snettisham Park Farms provided the sheep for this trial, which was supported by the East Anglian Sheepdog Society.
The competitors aimed to gain points towards qualifying for the English National sheepdog trials held in Devon during July.
The weather was perfect and a great day was had by all. Graham will be arranging more trials here at Snettisham Park again so do watch this space for future dates!
